About the event
Join runner and author Martinus Evans (@300poundsandrunning) for a night celebrating the lanuch of his new book: Slow AF Run Club. This book is a blueprint for those who may not fit the image of a “traditional” runner—that is, someone who is larger in size, less athletic, out of shape, or dealing with any kind of health issue that slows them down—to feel empowered to lace up their shoes and embrace the body they have right now.
Martinus will host a brief book talk, followed by a Q&A session and book signing/photo opportunity. Refreshments will be provided and our friends at Brooks will also be joing us for a shoe try on and 2-3 mile fun run! Books will be available for purchase, but there is no cost to attend this free event.
