Rides Near the Strip District
City Trail Tour
This fun route takes advantage of the trail system and bike lanes around downtown Pittsburgh, starting right from our shop! You’ll see plenty of city views such as PNC Park, Acrisure Stadium, Point State Park, and the color park in South Side. A fun and approachable route for beginners and experienced riders alike, there are no climbs along the way, with any elevation gain coming from the four bridge crossings. You'll note that this route avoids a trail closure on the south end of Point State Park, as the current path is under construction to improve accessibility. Not to worry, though, a short jaunt on bike friendly roads between Point State Park and the Smithfield Street Bridge will keep you on track and cruising back toward the shop!

City Coffee Loop
A nice easy route for cyclists who want to explore a few of Pittsburgh's historic neighborhoods. Heading out from the Strip District, the route heads towards Lawrenceville before coming to the only real climb of the route, Stanton Ave. Settle in for a nice 10 min climb to the top. Don't worry though, it is rewarded with a gorgeous view and nice easy downhill. From here, coffee is only a few minutes away in the newly revitalized Point Breeze. After a quick stop to refuel, head back towards town by way of the historic neighborhood of Squirrel Hill. Bike lanes throughout make it safe and simple to check out the beautiful houses lining the streets, and after coasting down into Greenfield, the fastest descent of the ride awaits. Be careful on the way down to the flats, this is often a place where you'll find some traffic! Once on the bike path, it's a straight shot to the Point for a quick trip over a couple of bridges to soak in more views of the city before heading back to the Strip!
